Winter Blast

It’s cold outside

as the snow falls to the ground.

Running and playing

with snowball fights all around.

Snowmen being built,

sliding down hills with boogie boards,

meant for water.

I couldn’t ask for much more than this.

A day off from school,

it’s the BEST!!!!!

I don’t want the fun to end,

oh wait… it gets better!

Me and my friends

all meetup at the park.

Sliding, slipping,

playing having fun!

When the day was almost over,

the fun was all done.

A Change of Plans

I saw all the gifts and cake. Kids were leaping, laughing and doing flips.  Some kids jumped 3ft in the air some jumped 6ft.  Air U was a place full of happiness.
All of my family dared me to to do a flip, I was so scared.   It was like I  was glued to the trampoline, I was frightened.  Then the moment that amazed us all.  I jumped as high as I possibly could, I soared through the air like a bird.  I had a rush of thrill run through me.  I felt like i could do anything.  I had overcome my fear of doing a front flip.

The feeling a had was overjoyed.  I kept on doing it over and over again.  My cousin’s birthday party had turned into a congratulations party for me.

Doing a flip for the first time showed me that I could do anything that i put my mind to.  Just keep trying till you get it right.  Nothing is impossible if you just try.
